What can EventIntro do for an ERG today?

It connects members who'd otherwise never meet. An ERG's roster is usually spread across sites, functions, and levels, and a monthly all-hands email does nothing to put two specific people in touch. EventIntro reads what each member is looking for — a mentor, a peer, a sponsor — and makes concrete introductions across the org, which is the belonging the group exists to create.

Membership in an employee resource group is easy; connection inside one is hard, precisely because the members are scattered. A list of five hundred people who share an identity isn't a community until some of them actually know each other.

What's still being shaped here?

Honestly: structured mentorship mechanics — formal mentee/mentor cycles, cadence tracking, check-ins — are something we're still developing rather than a finished feature. Event and member matching works now. If ongoing mentorship is central to your ERG, tell us; that demand is what decides whether we build it out.

How is member data handled?

Profiles are private to the group and owned by each member. Participation in an ERG is voluntary and often personal, and the data model treats it that way — this is member-to-member connection, not a reporting tool pointed at employees.
