Mentor Matching, Powered by Real Profiles
We're exploring mentor–mentee matching built on the same survey-to-embedding engine that powers EventIntro's event networking. Tell us about your program.
EventIntro's matching engine powers event and cohort networking today. We're exploring mentor and mentee matching as a next step — if this is your problem, tell us about it below and help shape what we build.
Who this is for
- Program leaders who pair mentors and mentees by hand from a spreadsheet.
- Associations and companies whose mentorship programs stall on the matching step.
- Anyone who wants pairing by goals and offers, not just by job title or tenure.
Where mentor matching and event matching overlap
Pairing a mentee with the right mentor is the same core problem EventIntro already solves for events: look past titles and tenure, and match on what one person needs against what another can offer. The engine that ranks complementary event introductions is a natural fit for mentorship — which is why we're exploring it, and why this page asks about your program instead of selling you a feature.
A good mentorship match isn't the most senior person available; it's the person whose experience maps onto the mentee's actual goal this quarter. That mapping is exactly what our survey-to-embedding pipeline produces for event attendees today. The open question isn't whether the matching works — it's whether the surrounding program (intake, scheduling, check-ins) is worth building.
What we'd need to learn from your program
Mentorship differs from an event introduction in ways that matter. A mentor match is directional — one person primarily offers, the other primarily seeks — and it lasts months rather than one conversation. Programs vary wildly: some pair once and step back, others rotate cohorts every quarter, others need reporting for a sponsor. We want to understand how your program matches today, what breaks, and what a good outcome looks like before we assume the event-matching shape transfers.
What exists today
To be clear about the honest state of things: EventIntro does not ship a mentor-matching product right now. What exists is the underlying engine — survey, LLM enrichment, seek/offer embeddings, complementary matching — running in production for event and cohort networking. If mentorship is your problem, the most useful thing you can do is describe it in the form below. Early respondents shape what we build and get first access if we ship it.
